HOUSE 3:16: 1 ASSEMBLY youth camp

One ASSEMBLY is a youth gathering that attracts several young people from all over Nigeria. It is an inter-denominational Youth Camp aimed at impacting the new generational youths.

The 1 ASSEMBLY is an annual event which takes place every 27th to 30th December.

One ASSEMBLY is always a once-in-a-year opportunity for retreat, self-discovery and empowerment to face the forth-coming New Year and even beyond.

One ASSEMBLY

An award-winning poet who attended the previous 1 ASSEMBLY described it as, 3 days of fulfillment, fun, formation and friendship. And truly, it is!

We always receive great testimonies during and after the camp. Testimonies such as healings of wounded heart, reconciliation of family members, rededication of lives to Jesus, discovery of ministries, spiritual empowerments, discovery of talents and transformation of minds. Glory to God!

BIBLICAL BASIS:

The One ASSEMBLY is the fulfillment of the prophetic declarations made by Prophets Joel and Isaiah:

Joel 2:15

Blow the trumpet in Zion, sanctify a fast, call a solemn assembly:

Isaiah 66:18

…it shall come, that I will gather all nations and tongues and they shall come, and see my glory.

AIMS AND OBJECTIVES:

To serve as an avenue for youth empowerment, spiritually, mentally, educationally and otherwise.
To become a prophetic altar that shall unveil and reveal the next move of God in this generation.
To liberate, revive and empower the young people to function fully in their various callings and ministries for the benefit of the Church.
To become an arena of universal and united worship to God.

SCHEDULE:

The 1 ASSEMBLY, 2017, is scheduled to take place as follows;

DATE: 27th to 30th December

VENUE: Government Science School Kuru, Plateau State, Nigeria.

CAMP REGISTRATION FEE:

The camp registration fee is 1,500 Naira (One Thousand Five Hundred Naira). The fee covers accommodation, feeding and some camp materials.

AGE LIMIT:

Participants must be above 14 years old.

ACTIVITIES:

Variety of activities shall be taking place at the One ASSEMBLY. All these activities are carefully and strategically designed to have a lasting and positive impact on the participants. These activities include:

Teachings
Relationship seminar
Worship and Prophetic Night
Business seminar
Talent Discovery
Hiking
Prayers and Meditations
Time-out with Dancers

PERSONAL ITEMS:

It is highly recommended that the following items be brought by the participants;

Blanket and bed sheet
Spoon, plates and cup
Bible, pen and a notebook
Sweater or jacket, head-warmer, socks and hand gloves to protect against cold
Sport shoes and wears
Bathing soap and sponge
Tooth brush and tooth paste
Choppies like biscuits, sweets, chinchin, meats, snacks etc for sharing with roommates and other participants
Gadgets such as handset, pads, tabloid, laptop, cameras are also allowed

CAMP DEPARTMENTS:

Various departments shall exist before, during and after the camp. Camp participants are encouraged to be part of any department of their choice. All departments shall work hand in hand. Participants are free to join any department but at most two.
